How to convert MP3 audio to AIFF audio

Select the "MP3 to AIFF" tab in program main interface (default), click "Add MP3 Audio" button to select source MP3 files, you can add lot of MP3 files one time, after click "Convert to AIFF" button, you need choice one folder as the output folder, then program will convert your MP3 audio files to AIFF audio format one-by-one.

If your source audio file is huge or you convert many files one time, please make sure you have enough disk space to save the output files.

How to convert AIFF audio to MP3 audio

Select the "AIFF to MP3" tab in program main interface, click "Add AIFF Audio" button to select source AIFF audio files, you can add the "*.aiff", "*.aif" and "*.aifc" files, then click "Convert to MP3" button to start audio conversion, program will save the output MP3 audio files in the output folder that you choice.

About AIFF Audio

AIFF is shorted for "Audio Interchange File Format", it is a file format for sound that wraps various sound bit streams, ranging from uncompressed waveform to MIDI. Files with LCPM waveform data are the focus of this discussion. Compressed waveforms are wrapped by AIFF-C (or an earlier version sometimes referred to as AIFC), not documented at this web site.

The default AIFF audio is not one uncompressed file format, and MP3 is uncompressed file format, so for the same audio or music, one AIFF audio file will bigger than the same audio MP3 file. The file extension for the standard AIFF format is .aiff or .aif. For the compressed variants it is supposed to be .aifc, but .aiff or .aif are accepted as well by audio applications supporting the format, so the default program output file is standard AIFF format.
